Although the harp is probably the most difficult instrument to mic up for live performances, it is surprisingly well catered for using our single strip pick-up. Due to the nature of the instrument, the whole of the sound board vibrates with every string/note played. The sensitive contact strip is capable of collecting all these vibrations in one product and transitting the signal back to your mixer/amplifier. The position of the strip will make a difference to the sound achieved but within 5 minutes the character of your instrument is captured. The strip is held in-place on the inside of the soundboard using our specially thin double side tape. This not only allows quick mounting but also eases adjustment or removal as required.

These products will work equally well on a pedal harp as a lever harp, if however, you are looking for a fully electro-acoustic harp, then we have developed the same technology for Pilgrim Harps which they use in their Wave series of harps, where the pickup system is builtin to the harp during manufacture.
