Bagpipes (2 drones) Microphone System AC-FD-12-2

The directional (hyper-cardioid) microphone system for bagpipes come in two varieties, this one for 2 drone bagpipes and another for 3 drone bagpipes.

Both systems have a directional chanter microphone plus the requisite number of omni drone microphones.

All microphones are attached to the bagpipes in the same way using padded plastic clips held in place by a black rubber band.

The microphones are then clipped to these cradle mounts. Each microphone can be adjusted to achieve the exact sound that is required.

All the drone microphones are connected together and fed in to one channel of the supplied pocket mixer, the chanter microphone goes into the other channel.

These two separate channels allow the user to balance the sound between the drones and the chanter.
